Claremont, CA —  The Occidental women's volleyball team had a huge fight against CMS last night! It was an amazing game with many impressive plays from Oxy. Some outstanding players who really came through in the match were Lindsey Nurse (La Mesa, CA), Skye Garcia (Cerritos, CA), and Bethany Heitland (Colorado Springs, CO).  Nurse played the front row well and had some big kills.  Garcia proved to be a force to be reckoned with as she had some deadly serving runs.  Heitland was key in the back row with her solid passing. Overall, it was a loss for the Tigers (25-14, 25-21, 25-16), but it was quite the fight.

Next Game:  The Tigers will be hosting Chapman University over Homecoming weekend.  Their game is at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
