Los Angeles, CA — Last night the Occidental Tigers put on quite the show. The gym was ecstatic and full of energy for the Homecoming game! Oxy came out strong and ready for a battle, winning the first set (25-19). However, the Panthers challenged back, winning the second set (25-21). It was a back and forth battle all night between the two teams. Spectacular kills by the Tigers' very own Lindsey Nurse brought the crowd to its feet and mind blowing digs from Bethany Heitland shook the gym. Overall, these athletes showed heart and spirit on the court. Unfortunately, Oxy ended with a loss (25-23, 25-18), but it was still quite the game.
