Claremont, CA —  Last night the Occidental women's volleyball team competed at Pomona-Pitzer.  Oxy got off to a slow start, but were ready to go by the third set.  In the end, PP would claim a three set win on their home court, continuing their winning streak (25-14, 25-16, 25-23).

At the start of the second set, Oxy was able to keep pace with PP, but the Sagehens strung a few points together and were able to get out to a 12-7 lead.  By the third set, the Tigers were ready for the hunt, challenging the Sagehens the entire way.  The Tigers would take the lead two times in the set, but the Sagehens rallied and were able to snag the set win.

• Leaders in Assists: Kat Chodaczek (20).

Next Game: The Tigers return home for Senior Day on Friday, October 29, at 7:00 p.m. against Whittier College.
