Los Angeles, CA — The Occidental Tigers followed their Saturday morning win with a second victory. Wilson Noll (Ann Arbor, MI) clenched the first goal of the game for the Tigers, with help from Shea Grosz (Lafayette, CA). Soon after, Nate Fisher (LaGrange, IL) found the net to bring Oxy to a two goal lead. Ottawa's Jonathon Wong would be the first to score after getting around the goalie on a powerplay. In the second period, Ottawa pulled out ahead by two. After regrouping, the Tigers were able to close the deficit and traded goals with Ottawa for the remainder of the second and third. Kellen Radtkey (Santa Barbara, CA) and Keegan Klein (Bellevue, WA) were tuned into each other, with Radtkey successfully setting up Klien for two goals. In the fourth, the Tigers were able to string a few goals together and hold Ottawa back. Ottawa had the final goal of the game, but it wasn't enough. Oxy claimed a hard-fought 12-11 win to wrap up the day.
Overall eight Tigers scored. Oxy was led by Klein (3 goals, 1 assist), Fisher (2 goals, 1 assist), and hea Grosz (4 assists).
