Los Angeles, CA — On Tuesday night, the women's volleyball team competed against CalTech in a 3 set match that saw the Tigers make impressive scoring runs multiple times throughout the match. Despite the outcome, the Tigers rallied and made all three sets extremely close.
On offense, Lindsey Nurse led the team with the highest hitting percentage at a .250! Both Lindsey and Estelle Harsh also had the most kills for the Tigers with 9! Ariana Carranza and Aniya Hawthorne contributed at the net with 3 kills each to round out the Tiger offense.
Iris Archibald, Estelle Harsh, and Ariana Carranza all had 12 digs, keeping the Tigers in the game to rally against the Beavers! Setter Kat Chodaczek had 6 digs and 22 assists, taking control of both the front and back court. Ultimately, the result was not what the Tigers had hoped for, but they continue to use these games as learning opportunities and always manage to give 100% effort!
