Claremont, CA — On Friday night, the women's volleyball team played a competitive match against the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens. Although the Sagehens ended the night with the win, the Tigers rallied in all three sets to make it a close game!
Offensively, Lindsey Nurse led the Tigers with the highest hitting percentage at a .455 and had 5 kills! Ariana Carranza had the most kills with 10, dominating at the net! Kat Chodaczek had 10 assists and kept the setter-hitter connection intact the entire match!
On defense, libero Iris Archibald controlled the back court, leading the team with 12 digs. Ariana Carranza also had an impressive showing on defensive, tallying 11 digs and making hustle plays throughout all three sets. Despite the result, the Tigers had a worthy outing, making incredible scrappy plays and displaying their stellar team chemistry!
