La Verne, CA - On Friday night, the women's volleyball team competed against La Verne in a close three set match. Despite the loss, the Tigers played a cohesive game of volleyball and fought hard until the end.
Offensively, Lindsey Nurse had the highest hitting percentage for the Tigers with a .300 and earned 10 kills. Estelle Harsh was right behind, hitting a .280 and contributed 10 kills. Ariana Carranza had 8 kills, helping the Tiger offense stay in it. Together the Tigers had an impressive 35 kills on the night.
Libero Iris Archibald kept the Tiger defense alive with 13 digs and a strong presence in the backcourt. Setter Kat Chodaczek had 25 assists and 8 digs, being both an offensive and defensive force. Ariana Carranza and Estelle Harsh made fantastic hustle plays, doing it all for the Tiger's. Although the Tiger's did not end the night with a win, they played with all out effort and left everything on the court!
