Thousand Oaks, CA — On Tuesday night, the women's volleyball team had an intense match against Cal Lutheran which saw the Tiger's close the gap in both the first and third sets. Ultimately, Oxy lost the match, but competed with great passion and effort.
Ariana Carranza had both the highest hitting percentage and the most kills for the Tigers. She hit a .120 and had an impressive 8 kills. Lindsey Nurse and Estelle Harsh also contributed with 4 kills each. Setter Kat Chodaczek had 17 assists and made smart setting decisions to boost the Tiger offense.
On defense, libero Iris Archibald led the Tigers with 12 digs, taking control of the back court and picking up Regal hits all across the court. Estelle Harsh and Kat Chodaczek were also key players in the back row with 9 and 8 digs, respectively. Despite the outcome, the Tigers continue to push through adversity and come out as a better team!
