Orange, CA — On Saturday night, the women's volleyball team competed against Chapman in an extremely close match that saw the Tigers even the score multiple times. Although Chapman ended the night with the win, Oxy played competitively and left it all out on the court for their last game of the season.
On offense, Eliana Channell led the Tigers with the highest hitting percentage, hitting a .364 and had 4 kills. Estelle Harsh had the most kills, tallying 13, and Lindsey Nurse had 8, with the second highest hitting percentage of .333. Setter Kat Chodaczek had 30 assists, keeping the Tiger offense alive.
Defensively, Ariana Carranza had the most digs with 10 for the Tigers, commanding the back row. Both Estelle Harsh and Iris Archibald had 9 digs, hustling to every ball and making impressive scrappy plays to pick up Chapman hits. In the last game of the season the Tigers played with energy and force, and showed that they have improved immensely since their first game. The future for Tiger volleyball shines bright!
