Los Angeles, CA — Julia Shephard '24 got the start in game 1, striking out six in a complete-game effort. Offensively, Aly Olkien '22, Delaney Russell '22, and Audrey Krishnadasan '25 each collected 1 hit, with Krishnadasan driving in Oxy's RBI. Pinch-hitter Haley Carlton '22 brought a jolt of energy to the game, doing her job with a single in the bottom of the 5th inning. 

The Tigers brought the energy from the start of game 2. Evelyn Lorch '25 led the way with 3 hits. Both Philycia Pedrosa '25 and Aly Olkein '22 collected 2 hits, with 5 other players tallying 1 hit. Zada Day-Adams '25 dominated in her pitching debut, relieving game 2 starter Delaney Russell '22. Day-Adams struck out 2 in 2.2 innings to keep the Tigers within reach. A 7th inning rally came up just short for Oxy.

Next Game: The Tigers host Bridgewater College on Monday, February 28 for a doublehead.  Games will be at 1 and 3 PM.
