Aly Olkien '22 had 3 hits and 2 RBIs, Philycia Pedrosa '25 had 2 hits and 3 RBIs and Audrey Krishnadasan '25 had 2 hits and 1 RBI. On the mound, Zada Day-Adams '25 earned her first collegiate win, pitching 5 innings and striking out 2. In relief, Julia Shephard '24 got the save, pitching 2 innings and striking out 1.
Game 2 showcased a pitcher's duel with Oxy's Delaney Russell '22 dominating the opposing lineup, pitching 8 innings and allowing only 2 runs. Offensively, Russell, Audrey Krishnadasan '25, Evelyn Lorch '25 each had 1 hit. The game was tied until CMS scored a run in the 8th inning to barely snag the win.
The series concluded on Sunday as the Tigers traveled to CMS for game 3. Delaney Russell '22 got the start, pitching 4.1 innings and allowing only 1 earned run. Russell contributed offensively as well with 1 hit. Ava Quezada '25 and Drew Samson '22 also had 1 hit each.
