Los Angeles, CA — The Occidental Tigers came just short on Tuesday night's game at Hope International in a 4-1 contest.

The Tigers had a fast start as Designated Hitter Jodhan Fine had a single in the 1st inning which brought Left Fielder Antonio Andrade in to give Oxy a 1-0 lead. The Royals took the lead in the 5th inning by scoring three runs and they tacked on one more in the 7th. The Tigers recorded 10 hits on the night and were led by Right Fielder Andrew Synder who had two hits. Oxy Pitcher Cary Lucas started the game for the Tigers and went three innings while allowing zero runs.

Next Game: The Tigers will return to conference play on Friday with a game at Pomona-Pitzer.
