Los Angeles, CA — On Friday, Tiger volleyball had an exciting home match against West Coast Baptist. The Tigers swept their opponent, taking all three sets and keeping West Coast under 10 points in the first set, as well as under 17 points in both the second and third! The Tigers once again showed all out effort to come out with the win!
On offense, Aniya Hawthorne had the most kills, scoring 8, and Estelle Harsh and Lindsey Nurse each contributed 7. Aniya Hawthorne also ended the night with the highest hitting percentage, hitting .500! The Tigers offense all around had a fantastic showing racking up a total of 33 kills!
Defensively, Iris Archibald led the team with 6 digs, taking control of the back court. Lizzy Kerman was also a key defensive player with 5 digs, always hustling to pick up balls in the back row. Every Tiger played with the drive to win and worked together on the court to make it happen! Each game the Tigers display significant effort, hustle, and teamwork that will continue to propel this team through conference play.
