Los Angeles, CA – In game 1, Zada Day-Adams '25 got the start, striking out 5 batters. Ariel Lashinsky '24 pitched 3 innings in relief, earning 7 groundouts and allowing only 2 earned runs. Kaitlyn Suarez '24 battled at the plate, drawing 2 walks against a strong opposing pitcher. Sam Palacio '26 and Alysha Wagner '26 also drew key walks in the game, with Wagner '26 scoring the Tigers' sole run on an RBI groundout from Jordan Lebsock '26.

Ellery Mitchell '24 returned to the mound strong, pitching 5.1 innings in the game, earning 9 flyouts and 5 groundouts.
