Ventura, CA – The Women's Golf team wrapped up their spring season at the SCIAC Championship from April 23rd through the 25th, hosted by Cal Lutheran at Olivas Links GC in Ventura. On the third and final round of the tournament, the team broke the school scoring record by three shots, shooting 308 as a team to set a new low single-day total.
First-Year Rachel Aujero was the low scorer overall in the tournament for the Tigers, shooting three rounds in the 70s to finish T-19 in the field at 228 (+12). Following closely behind, Sophomore Madeline Greene had the lowest round for the team over the three days with a 73 (+1) in the third round, going -1 on her front nine. She finished 23rd overall at 230 (+14). Senior Co-Captain Juliette Ruaux competed in her last collegiate tournament for the Tigers with a successful final round 78. The Tigers moved up as a team and finished the tournament in 5th in the competitive field.
