Pomona, CA – The women's golf team competed at the second conference event of the spring season, traveling to Mountain Meadows Golf Course for SCIAC 2 hosted by La Verne. The team bounced back the second day, moving up 2 spots to finish in 4th behind nationally ranked fellow SCIAC teams, Pomona-Pitzer (#2), CMS(#5) and Redlands (#7). The team outplayed Cal Lutheran (#32) by 10 shots and Chapman (#23) by 7 to move up.

After the first day, Junior Co-Captain Madeline Greene led the way for the team with her 5-over par 75, followed closely by Sophomore Rachel Aujero with a 6-over 76. In the second round, Rachel and Senior Co-Captain Maya Ghosh led the Tigers with 3-over par 73s to help position the team. Overall, Rachel finished T7 and Madeline was right behind in 10th among the field.

The Tigers look to continue and bring the momentum into the final weeks of the season as they prepare for SCIAC Championships at Los Serranos Country Club from April 28th through the 30th to wrap up the spring season. Go Tigers!
