LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Track and Field hosted the Oxy Distance Carnival and Spring Break Classic on Saturday March 9.

Both the men and the women notched two victories, and the Tigers nabbed an array of top-five finishes on the day.

On the women's side,
Jenna LeNay paced the 10k with a 35:43.36. That mark shattered her previous record set a season ago of 36:02.3.

Another Tiger skyrocketing into the record books was
Zoey Hrabe. Hrabe shot up to fourth all-time on the pole vault list with a victorious mark of 3.5 meters, equating to 11'5.75".

Elizabeth Hawley made her way into the 400-meter dash record books. The sophomore leapt to ninth all-time, running the race in 58.11.

The men's two victories came in the 4x100 relay and the 110-meter hurdles. The relay team, comprised of
Justin Edwards,
Emerson Ames,
Oliver Yue and
Jack Spencer, earned a time of 42.48. They bested two DIII programs in Colorado College and La Verne.

James Buellesbach won the 110-meter hurdles with a personal best time of 14.96. This is the first time the first year has run the event in under 15 seconds.

Around the track,
Shane Kawakami-Williams picked up a fifth place finish out of 40 runners in the 400-meter dash at 49.37.
Zachary McGraw picked up a third-place mark in the 100-meter dash out of 53 racers. His time was 11.09.
