LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Eight Occidental Water Polo student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District on Tuesday, June 17.
 
On the men's side, Tate Miller, Ocean Pogorel, Aiden Cawley and Oliver Wilkins earned the honors, while Koko Butcher, Samantha Edgington, Cate Sloat and Norah Ruvalcaba were named to the women's team.
 
Each athlete excelled in the pool and in the classroom, participating in at least 90% of the team's games while holding a 3.5 GPA or higher.
 
Koko Butcher headlines the group as an All-American selection in their final season with the Tigers. Butcher was named ACWPC Honorable Mention All-American and Second Team All-SCIAC as a senior.
 
The men's team returns to De Mandel Aquatics Center in the fall of 2025, while the women's team will kick off the 2026 campaign in February of next year.
