RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – Men's golf took on The Clash, hosted by Claremont-M-S at Red Hill Country Club in Rancho Cucamonga from Monday, October 19 to Tuesday, October 20.

Owen Wolak posted his top collegiate finish, tying for first place in a field of the top Division III talent in the nation. Wolak shot a four-under 140 across two rounds, tying with Kyle Harford from La Sierra. Wolak lost a playoff hole but still captured a share of the tournament title.

Wolak, who shot one-under on day one, had some ground to make up heading into the final day. He started on the back nine and promptly birdied three out of the first five holes, sprinkling in an eagle on hole 12. He was five under through five, then added a couple strokes to end the day three-over.

The senior finished ahead of the reigning Division III National Champion, Sebi Aliga from CMS, and 12 players ranked higher than him in the national rankings.

The Tigers finished the tournament in the following order:

Wolak – T1 – 140
Sam Landers – T33 – 151
Daniel Rowe – T58 – 158
Vincent Cai – T67 – 162
Will Sires – T72 – 164

Oxy's fall season is over and the squad will return to the course for SCIAC #1 in February.
