SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Women's tennis opened the season splitting its San Diego road trip, earning a 7-0 victory over San Diego City and 6-1 loss to Division II Point Loma.
 
The Tigers rolled through the opener against SDCC, with four singles players earning 6-0, 6-0 wins. Two doubles teams notched 8-0 victories as well. First years Macy McClellan, Catelyn Isman and Rika Ogiwara earned their first collegiate wins on Friday.
 
The following day, Greta Nagy put up a great fight in her singles match, but fell to her DII counterpart 6-4, 6-2. Elise Jay also showed fight, falling 6-3, 6-2.
 
The Tigers are back in action on February 8 against Stanton at 11:30.
