SANTA CRUZ, Calif. – Women's tennis finished up its Santa Cruz trip with a 4-3 victory over UC Santa Cruz on Sunday, March 8.
The Tigers dropped the doubles point, but earned four points in singles, including the decisive victory, a 7-6,6-3 win in the six spot from
Lilia Tanabe. All Tigers won their singles matches in straight sets.
Greta Nagy and
Ellise Jay won their matches in straight sets – Nagy 6-3, 6-1 and Jay 6-2, 7-5.
Macy McClellan was the other Tiger to pick up a point with a 6-3, 6-1 win.
The Tigers also faced Sewanee, losing 4-0 on Saturday. The two teams played until a decision was reached.
