GREENSBORO, N.C. – Baseball received votes in the most recent American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Coaches Poll on March 17. This marks the Tigers' first appearance in the poll since the 2019 season.

Off to a 15-4 start – most recently beating Illinois Tech on Tuesday, 17-16 on a walk-off single from Jackson Short – the Tigers have amassed more wins through the first 19 games of 2026 than in each of the last six seasons.

It's a nearly identical start to the 2019 season when the Tigers began that campaign 15-4-1, reaching the SCIAC Tournament. They finished the season 28-14 and 16-8 in conference play, the last time Oxy finished over .500 in a full season.

The Tigers have a tough test against No. 15/23 (ABCA/D3baseball.com) Cal Lutheran with a three-game set starting on Friday, March 20. Game one is set for Thousand Oaks with Saturday's doubleheader slated at Anderson Field.
