LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Women's tennis picked up its third-straight 7-0 win, this time a conference victory over Whittier on Friday, March 27.
The Tigers earned all seven points over the Poets, with a pair of Tigers earning wins without losing a game.
Nicole Anderson in the three spot and
Macy McClellan in the four both notched 6-0, 6-0 wins.
Lilia Tanabe won her match in fifth singles, 6-0, 6-1.
The one and two spots proved slightly closer as
Ellise Jay earned a 6-2, 6-3 win in singles, while
Greta Nagy's opponent in the one spot forced a third set – 7-6, 2-6, 10-7.
Doubles went more of the same with a 6-2 win in first doubles (Nagy/Jay) and a 6-4 victory in second doubles (Anderson/
Catelyn Isman). The Tigers won by default in third doubles and sixth singles.
