LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Women's tennis dropped its final home match of the season, 4-3 to Chapman on Friday, April 24.

Before the match, the Tigers celebrated their lone senior,
Nicole Anderson, playing in her final home match.

After securing the doubles point, with a pair of 6-4 wins from
Greta Nagy/
Ellise Jay and
Lilia Tanabe/
Macy McClellan, the Tigers notched just two singles victories.

Nagy and Tanabe finished the day perfect. The Tigers No. 1 won in straight sets, 6-3, 6-0, while Tanabe won a decisive third set, 6-2 after playing to a 6-2, 4-6 draw through the first two.

Courts two and four saw close matches reach three sets as Jay, who won the first set of her match, fell 6-1 in consecutive frames to fall in second singles.
Catelyn Isman had a chance to clinch it for the Tigers, but fell in a tightly contested match, 4-6, 6-4, 3-6.

The Tigers are back in action to close the season at Caltech on Saturday, April 25 at 3 p.m.
