PASADENA, Calif. – Men's tennis dropped its final match of the season – falling just a game shy of the SCIAC Tournament – to Caltech, 6-1.
Ace Andres finished up an impressive senior campaign, winning his match for the Tigers' lone point. Andres won in a tiebreaker, coming behind from 4-6 in the first set to win the final two 7-5, 10-8.

Jack Yurich survived to win their doubles match 7-5, but Caltech ran away with the first two doubles matches with 6-2 and 6-0 wins respectively.
Tate Ransom, who came into the match ranked fourth in the NCAA regionally, fell in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2. The sophomore wrapped up an impressive first campaign – after missing his first season – 9-7 in the first singles slot.
The Tigers finished the 2026 season 7-12 and 3-4 in SCIAC play.
