AUSTIN, Texas – Occidental College Athletics' Assistant Athletic Director for Communications, Joe Perrino was selected as one of 18 finalists for the Inaugural FloCollege CSC Spotlight Award on Wednesday, June 3.
 
Perrino is the SCIAC's representative for the award, recognizing communicators and CSC staff who go above and beyond to elevate their student-athletes, athletic programs and institutions through strategic storytelling, advocacy and a commitment to excellence.
 
FloCollege houses 18 conferences and 203 institutions across Division I, II and III. Perrino's selection highlights Occidental's continued efforts to enhance live streaming for each of the college's 20 sports. This year, Oxy Athletics streamed to 12,818 unique viewers across all of its events.
 
The winner of the award will be announced at the NACDA Convention in Las Vegas on Tuesday, June 9.
