Baseball set to play as scheduled

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Despite wet weather throughout the week with heavy rains over night, the Tigers are set to host the No. 14 Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens as originally scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Anderson Field.

This afternoon's affair will be available online via Live Stats and Video coverage, pending a strong enough internet connection. It will mark the first Live baseball video broadcast in school history.

Occidental (8-14,) concluded their non-conference schedule on Wednesday with a 6-3 loss to Carleton College (MN). The Tigers are currently 4-7 in Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action and hold the sixth spot.

Pomona-Pitzer (17-6) enters the afternoon ranked No. 14 in the d3baseball.com National Poll. The Sagehens currently sit in fourth place in the league standings with a 7-5 mark and have won three straight games.
