PASADENA — Victor Munoz went 3 for 3 with a pair of doubles and A.J. Libunao had a bases-clearing triple as the Occidental baseball team made quick work of Caltech 11-0 in seven innings on Friday.

Oxy improves to 5-8 overall and 4-3 in SCIAC play. Caltech falls to 0-11 and 0-9.

The teams will play a doubleheader at Oxy on Saturday.

Joseph Kling earned his second win of the season, throwing four scoreless innings with four strikeouts.

The Tigers erupted for eight runs in the top of the fourth, putting the game safely out of reach.

Johnathan Brooks went 1 for 2 with two RBIs for Oxy.

Derek Keamey gave up five earned runs and was charged with the loss for Caltech.
