Los Angeles, CA — The Occidental baseball team's strong pitching pushed the Tigers to a 3-2 win on Saturday afternoon over the visiting George Fox Bruins.

After trailing 2-0 in the bottom of the 8th inning, Oxy left fielder Antonio Andrade hit a solo home run to put the Tigers just one run back. Oxy Third Baseman Preston Chong capped off the dramatic comeback in the bottom of the 9th inning with a single to center field with bases loaded, allowing the Tigers to score two runs and end the game.

The Tigers' pitchers were dominant on Saturday as starting pitcher Devon Suske stuck out nine batters and allowed zero earned runs. Oxy pitcher Jack Winterbauer also allowed zero earned runs and earned the win.
