Los Angeles, CA — The Occidental Tigers offense was hot in Saturday's 16-5 win over the visiting Whittier Poets.

The Tigers took the lead in the 2nd inning on a solo home run from Second Baseman Ryan Cacatian. Cacatian also had a two-run homer in the 7th inning to give Oxy a 7-2 lead. Third Baseman Michael Ingram and Left Fielder Antonio Andrade also had home runs in the 7th and 8th innings, respectively. The Tigers outhit the Poets 16-7 with First Baseman Ari Solomon leading the team with three hits.

The Tigers were led on the mound by Pitcher Caleb Reyes who went five innings with six strikeouts while allowing zero runs.
