Los Angeles, CA — The Occidental baseball team nearly completed an impressive comeback against the Centenary Gentlemen but fell just short in a 7-6 game. 

Despite being down 6-1 after the 4th inning, the Tigers fought until the end in the final game of the series with the Gents. Oxy had an impressive 5th inning as RBIs from Left Fielder Antonio Andrade, Center Fielder Christian Boudreau, and Designated Hitter Ari Solomon brought the Tigers within two runs of the Gents. Andrade, Right Fielder Jodhan Fine, and Catcher Jonathan Marshall led the offense with two hits each. Marshall also hit a solo home run in the bottom of the 9th to make it a 7-6 ballgame. 

Next Game: Oxy will travel to face the Hope International Royals on Tuesday night.
