Los Angeles, CA — The Oxy baseball team lost 8-0 at home against the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Stags on Friday Afternoon.
The Stags had a five-run first inning and the Tigers were unable to come back from that deficit. CMS pitcher Jarrett Korson pitched seven innings for CMS and earned the win. The Tigers had some key moments on defense including two inning-ending double plays in the 3rd and 5th inning, respectively. Oxy Third Baseman David Rizkalla led the team with two hits during the game. The Tigers had seven hits total compared to eight for the Stags.
