Thousand Oaks, CA — The Occidental Tigers took an early lead against the Cal Lutheran Kingsmen, but ultimately lost the series opener, 13-5.

The Tigers started hot with three runs in the first inning thanks to hits from Designated Hitter Ari Solomon and Center Fielder Ryan Cacatian. However, the Kingsmen had an offensive burst in the 3rd inning to take the lead. Left Fielder Antonio Andrade hit a solo home run in the 6th inning and hit another in the 9th. Andrade led the team with three hits in the game.
