Box Score Los Angeles, CA — The Tigers hosted the Cal Lutheran Kingsmen Saturday at Alumni Field for Game 2 of their conference series.
The Kingsmen came out swinging and jumped to an early lead after the 2nd inning. To leadoff the 4th inning for the Tigers, Jeffery Cambra doubled down the left field line and advanced to 3rd on an errant pickoff attempt. The next batter was Lou Martineau, who hit a sacrifice fly to right field to score Cambra. Martineau would later go on to add a double to his day and finished with a statline of 1-1 with an RBI and a hit by pitch.
Jamie Royka came into the game in the top of the 7th to provide pitching relief. In his 2nd appearance of the year, Royka pitched a scoreless inning in which he struck out 1 and induced an inning ending double play.
The Tigers were unable to overcome Cal Lutheran's big innings and went on to lose. The Kingsmen win by a score of 13-1.
