CLAREMONT, Calif. – Women's cross country posted another stellar performance at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational on Saturday, October 19, placing third out of six, beating Division II Cal Poly Pomona.
A plethora of Tigers set PRs on the day including Oxy's top finisher Jenna LeNay. She placed fourth in a field of 80 runners, ending the race at 22:07.4 in the 6k. Megan Cover and Jillian Rossett both finished in the top-30.
Five Tigers placed in the top half of the field on Saturday, all five of those runners notching PRs.Â
Women's cross country is back in action on November 2 at Carbon Canyon Park in Brea, with a trip to the NCAA West Regionals looming on the horizon.
