INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Jenna LeNay earned an at-large bid to compete at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships in Terre Haute, Ind. on Sunday, November 17.

The announcement comes after LeNay placed 12th out of 175 runners at the DIII West Regionals in Portland on Saturday. LeNay's finish tabbed her third in line to earn an individual qualifier after Claremont-M-S, Colorado College, Pomona-Pitzer, George Fox and UC Santa Cruz earned spots as teams. The top seven individuals, not members of those three teams, earned trips to Terre Haute.

LeNay returns to the NCAA Championships after reaching the race as a sophomore in 2023. She finished 65th last year, running a 22:12.9 in the Championships. Now in 2024, LeNay looks to take the next step and leap into the All-American conversation.

Coming off a PR of 21:34.1, LeNay's time on Saturday would have firmly been in the Second Team All-American conversation a year ago.

On the same course back in October, LeNay placed 28th and ran a 22:14.7.

The race is set for this Saturday, November 23 in Terre Haute, Ind. With temperatures dropping to a high of 41 over the weekend, it will pose a tough task for LeNay, but not an unfamiliar one with similar conditions in Carlisle, Penn. a year ago.
