Jenna LeNay repeats with another top five finish at the SCIAC Cross Country Championships on Saturday, November 2 at Carbon Canyon Regional Park. As a team, the women placed fifth out of eight while the men finished in seventh.

After placing fourth in 2023, LeNay followed up her performance shaving off 13 seconds from last year's time in the 6k at 22:17.5. The performance netted her a fifth-place finish at the Championships. She'll add another First Team All-SCIAC mark – this is LeNay's third-straight season receiving All-SCIAC honors. She was the only Tiger to earn a top 20 finish.

LeNay's time on Saturday was a second faster than her NCAA Championship-clinching mark a year ago at the NCAA Division III West Regionals.

Jack Elfenbaum was just one spot out of the top 20 on the men's side. His 25:53.2 in the 8k was over 30 seconds faster than his previous two races. His fastest mark of 25:35.2 at the UCR Invitational in September would have been 15
th at the SCIAC Championships.

Back on the women's side, three Tigers scored inside the top 30.
Jillian Rosset earned a 25
th place finish at 23:42.4,
Rosemary Peters ran a new PR at 23:53.1, placing 28
th.
Megan Cover rounded out the group in 29
th, running a 23:59.2.

Joshua Lo had the next best finish for the men. He placed 42
nd after running a 27:08.1.

The Tigers are back in action in two weeks at the NCAA Division III West Regionals in Portland, Ore. The runners look to qualify for the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Ind. the following weekend.
