CLAREMONT, Calif. – Cross Country took on the Pomona-Pitzer Invite Saturday, October 4. The women finished eighth out of 19 scoring teams - beating four DII programs, while the men finished 11
th of 20.

Jenna LeNay paced the Tiger women, finishing in ninth place in the 6k. The 2024 national championship qualifier is back like she never left, finishing in the top 10 in back-to-back meets to begin the 2025 campaign.

Jade Weggeman and
Megan Cover each finished in the top quarter of the field. Weggeman placed 46
th and Cover 56
th out of 222 scoring runners. Cover jumped three spots in the final kilometer of racing.

On the men's side,
Owen Voigt led the way placing 59
th. The Tigers had five runners finish inside the top 100, including
Noe Barraza (72),
Alireza Tofangdar (95),
Josh Abeyta (98) and
Danny Bravo (99).

The Tigers are back in action on October 18 with the team splitting trips – some athletes traveling to the Highlander Invitational in Riverside, and others flying to Illinois for the Augustana Interregional Invitational.
