Pasadena, CA – In a challenging match against Caltech's demanding and relentless lineup, Occidental faced a tough battle, ultimately falling with a final score of 9-0 on April 13, 2024. 

Although the Beavers swept the match, the Tigers pushed their counterparts to tight scores before yielding.  On courts two and three, the duos of Brett Miller and Dhruv Verma, as well as Benjamin Burrow and Dennis Isak, each were unrelenting in their efforts and battled fiercely until the end.  Miller and Dhruv went into a superset before falling 7-8 (4-7).

Notable highlights in singles include efforts made by Miller on court two and Dennis Isak on court three.  Miller was the final match to end and lost a close two setter with scores of 7-6 (7-4), 6-4.  Isak forced a third set after taking the second with a score of 6-3, but couldn't hold off Caltech's determined rally in the end.
