LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Occidental College Swimming & Diving readies for the 2025 SCIAC Championships February 19-22. Here's everything you need to know as the Tigers take on the conference's eight other member institutions.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The Championships will take place at East Los Angeles College in Monterey Park, Calif. The pool is indoors, and the event is hosted by Pomona-Pitzer.

RETURNING FINALISTS
Â
The Tigers return seven finalists from the 2023-24 campaign. Most notably,
Kyler Brumfield, who podiumed, earning All-SCIAC recognition in the 200 back.

Joshua Biggs and Nathan Pittroff all return after reaching their respective finals.

LAST DANCE
Â
Oxy's superb senior class comes decorated with 14 school records, some of which they look to shatter over the weekend, and all have scored points for the Tigers in the SCIAC Championships at some point in their careers.

This group of seniors looks to earn a spot in the top three after the women placed fourth, just nine points behind third-place Chapman. The men finished sixth.

DIVING INTO THE LEADERBOARDS

The Tigers bring three male divers to the championships for the first time. The Tigers look to pick up points in the category where they've come away scoreless in the past.

Isaac Bassett looks to repeat his stellar performance earning him a spot at the NCAA Diving Regionals.

Diving takes place on Wednesday and Friday, while swimming events are held on all four days.
