LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Nasir Luna was named D3hoops.com All-Region 10 Rookie of the Year on Tuesday, March 18. Luna is the first SCIAC first year to earn Rookie of the Year since the 2015-16 season.
 
Luna led the Tigers and was fifth in the SCIAC in scoring at 18.1 points per game. He was also fifth among all first years in the nation in scoring. He shot 49% from the field, 38% from three and 87% from the free-throw line. He was seventh in the SCIAC in shooting percentage and second in free throw percentage.
 
Since the awards were first released following the 2001-02 season, Luna becomes the first Tiger and third SCIAC men's basketball student-athlete to receive Rookie of the Year honors.
