LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Track & Field competed at the Pomona-Pitzer Invite on Saturday, April 12.

Elizabeth Hawley,
Skylar Cottell and
Delphine Way were a part of the Tigers' second-place 4x400 relay that blew away the rest of the SCIAC by four seconds. The quartet produced the third-fastest mark in program history and 18
th-fastest in the nation. They are just under two seconds off a NCAA Championship qualifying time.

Hawley placed seventh in the 400-meter dash. She ran the event in 57.11. Ogden notched a personal record in the same event, completing the race in 58.03. She moved up to ninth all-time in Tiger record books.

Chelsea Groves improved upon her standing in the all-time shot-put rankings. Groves moved up to fourth in program history, reaching a mark of 39-9 ¾. That marked third at the meet and first out of all SCIAC opponents.

On the men's side, the Tigers posted some notable finishes across the competition site.
Shane Kawakami-Williams earned the team's top individual finish, a second-place mark in the 200-meter dash. Kawakami-Williams completed the event in a season-best 21.69. That time was just .03 off his personal best from last year's SCIAC Championship second-place finish.

Around the track,
Zoey Hrabe was second among SCIAC athletes in the pole vault, passing 3.5 meters.
James Buellesbach had the third-fastest finish in the 110-meter hurdles out of the SCIAC field – 15.22.
Harrison Williams was second among all SCIAC athletes in the 400-meter hurdles – 54.55.

The Tigers are back in action next weekend at future SCIAC institute, Azusa Pacific's Bryan Clay Invite and the Leopard Invitational at La Verne.
