LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Shane Kawakami-Williams and James Buellesbach were selected to compete at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday, May 15.
 
Kawakami-Williams returns for his second-straight outdoor championships, and second trip to an NCAA postseason event this year – he qualified and competed at the NCAA Indoor Championships in March. The sophomore Buellesbach will make his first appearance.
 
Competing in the 100 and 200, Kawakami-Williams ranks 15^th and seventh respectively in the events. Buellesbach is 15^th in the 110 hurdles. The top 16 in each event would earn All-American status – first-through-eighth earn first team while the following eight are second teamers.
 
The three-day event begins Thursday May 21 and runs through May 23, hosted by the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse in La Crosse, Wis. Below are the following dates and times of each Tigers' prelims and finals.

• Men's 110 Hurdles Prelims – James Buellesbach – 2:25 p.m. PDT
• Men's 100M Prelims – Shane Kawakami-Williams – 3:35 p.m. PDT

 
SATURDAY, MAY 23, 2026

• Men's 110 Hurdles Prelims – James Buellesbach – 12:00 p.m. PDT
• Men's 100M Prelims – Shane Kawakami-Williams – 12:40 p.m. PDT
• Men's 200M Prelims – Shane Kawakami-Williams – 1:50 p.m. PDT
