VENTURA, Calif. – Golf competed at SCIAC #1 over the weekend, with Owen Wolak shining on the course on the men's side.
 
Wolak tied for fourth among a great pool of competition. He shot two-under across two rounds, shooting a weekend-best 68 on Sunday to catapult 14 spots. Wolak birdied seven holes in the final round, including three-straight on holes 2-through-4.
 
He, along with Hayden Thill who tied for eighth, sent the Tigers from sixth to fourth in the final round. Thill shot three-under on the back nine to finish even on day two.
 
On the women's side, Rachel Aujero led the Tigers in seventh place as the Tigers placed fifth as a team. The senior shot eight-over across the two rounds – four-over 76 each day.
 
Both squads are back in action on March 16 at the Cal Lutheran Invitational in Moorpark.
