LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Emerson Ames earned SCIAC Track Athlete of the Week on Monday, February 23.
 
Ames had a stellar meet at the Pomona-Pitzer All Comers meet on Saturday. Ames posted the SCIAC-best time of 10.90 in the 100-meter dash. He followed it up with the men's 4x1 team posting the Tigers' best time in 11 seasons. It's the fourth-fastest time in program history.
 
The Tigers are back in action this weekend at the Rossi Relays in Claremont.
