LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Alex McCleery Brown and Nasir Luna were selected as First Team All-SCIAC on Thursday, February 26.
 
The sophomore duo led the Tigers to their first five-or-fewer team SCIAC Tournament appearance since the 2018-19 season. Each earned at least one SCIAC Athlete of the Week nod and a D3hoops.com Team of the Week selection.
 
McCleery Brown was stellar in the regular season, leading the Tigers in nearly all statistical categories, and he was top-five in the SCIAC in points (third), rebounds (second), field goal percentage (second) and steals (fourth). McCleery Brown is tenth in the nation, first in the SCIAC, in offensive rebounds while being the shortest player on the list.

Last season's SCIAC Newcomer of the Year leaps to the first team in year two. Luna's scoring ability at all three levels marked him the sixth-leading scorer in the conference. He's also ninth in the SCIAC in assists. Luna is one of the nation's best free throw shooters, knocking down opportunities from the charity stripe at the country's seventh-best clip. Luna is one of 10 players nationally to shoot over 90% from the free throw line.
 
The duo's season continues Friday as the Tigers travel to Redlands to take on the No. 1 Bulldogs in the SCIAC Semifinals.
