LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Men's Tennis dropped its opening matches of the season 5-2 to Arizona Christian and Riverside City on Saturday, February 7.
 
Konan Sahara led the Tigers winning both of his singles matches, the first in three sets (6-1, 5-7, 6-4) then the following in straight sets (6-1, 6-4). Mason Hart added a singles win in the opener (6-1, 6-3) and Ronald Chen earned a tiebreaker win in the final match of the day (3-6, 7-5, 10-5).
 
On the doubles end, the only match the Tigers picked up was the third doubles match against Arizona Christian. Chen and Dhruv Verma earned a 6-3 win.
 
The Tigers are back in action Feb. 14 against Ventura College.
