LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Women's tennis split its action on the weekend, beating Linfield 7-0 and falling to Colorado College.
 
Match 1 – L vs CC, 7-0
 
The Tigers faced a tall task against another set of Tigers from Colorado College. Ellise Jay put up a great fight in second singles, pushing the decisive second set to a tiebreaker, but eventually falling 6-3, 7-6 (7-3).
 
Match 2 – W vs Linfield, 7-0
 
Oxy dominated, winning all nine matches on the day, ending the week off with an emphatic victory.
 
Rika Ogiwara was especially dominant in the six spot, winning both sets 6-0, 6-0. All singles matches were won in straight sets and doubles matches were won 6-2, 6-0 and 6-1 respectively first through third.
 
The Tigers are back in action on Wednesday, hosting College of the Canyons at 4 p.m.
