LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Men's tennis earned another big win, a 5-2 victory over Cal Lutheran on the road brings them a step closer to clinching a SCIAC tournament berth.
 
Now 3-2 in SCIAC play, the Tigers will likely need a victory over Caltech or Claremont-M-S to earn the No. 4 seed in the tourney.
 
After earning the doubles point, four Tigers picked up singles wins, including Ace Andres who has won five-straight matches and is 8-3 in the third singles spot in his senior campaign.
 
Tate Ransom, who's now 9-6 on the season, earned a dominant 6-2, 6-0 win in the one spot. He's currently ranked seventh in the West Region.
 
The Tigers are back in action on Saturday, April 18 against Claremont-M-S at home.
