LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Tate Ransom was named SCIAC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week on Monday, April 13.
 
Ransom was 4-0 on the week as the Tigers earned a pair of victories, inching their way closer to a SCIAC tournament berth. Ransom's biggest win came over the ITA West Region No. 9-ranked Aram Izmirian of Chapman on Friday, as the Tigers bested the Panthers 5-2.
 
Ransom is now 9-6 on the season in first singles and 9-8 in doubles. He and men's tennis are back in action on April 18 at home against No. 1 Claremont-M-S.
